SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM
Build power. Improve speed. Reduce injury risk. Learn to lift. Our holiday program gives junior athletes sport-specific strength and conditioning work so they return stronger and more confident for the season ahead. During these sessions, athletes work with qualified strength and conditioning coaches to develop key athletic skills — strength, speed, agility, balance, and resilience.
At GRIND High Performance Centre we are passionate about kids in sport. We want to help give every junior athlete their best chance to achieve their goals, no matter how big or small.
WHY THIS PROGRAM
Our Holiday Strength Program is a structured, evidence-based training camp that blends strength & conditioning with sport-specific skill’s and conditioning work for young athletes. Over short, focused sessions we teach proper lifting mechanics, speed and agility techniques, recovery strategies and mobility — all designed to:
Increase on-court/field power and acceleration
Improve change-of-direction and reactive speed
Reduce common youth injuries through better movement control and stabilisation
Build player confidence and resilience through progressive, coach-led training
Teach young athletes the correct way to lift
WHO IS IT FOR?
Any child aged between 10-17 who plays sport
Beginner to advanced junior athletes
Players wanting improve themselves for sport
Players who want to become stronger, faster or more explosive
Athletes who want to learn to lift correctly and attend the gym

As long as your child is wearing comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear there is nothing they are required to bring except for a drink bottle.

The sessions go for approximately 60 minutes.

These programs are designed for children aged 10 - 17

Parents are welcome to watch - however we do not have much viewing seating available.
We encourage parents to come in and meet the team when arriving, however it is not required to stay once the session has begun.
